Noice is committed to cooperating with law enforcement and to respecting the privacy, freedom of expression, and human rights of our users.
We have policies and processes that govern how we handle and respond to requests from law enforcement, focused on respecting legal and human right standards, operating in a way that allows us to comply with valid and legitimate requests from authorized law enforcement, while limiting negative impacts on human rights.
Addressing requirements
The data controller for all user data is Noice Entertainment Oy. We are registered in Finland under Business ID 3150031-5. Our registered office is at c/o RN-Yrityspalvelu LH 2, Korppaanmäentie 16, 00300 Helsinki, Finland. All requests should be directed to Noice Entertainment Oy.
All legal requests should be made through one of the forms below. Noice will not accept legal process (or any other requests for information) via email or fax, and will not respond to such requests.
Types of information held by Noice
Noice may hold the following types of data for an account, which will vary based on the settings on the account and how the owner of the account uses our services. The information may include data about the account owner, about the interactions between an account and our systems, and about content by the account owner.
The following are non-exhaustive examples for each:
- Account owner data: first and last name, whether the account owner is over 13 or over 18, username, channel name, phone number, email address, creation date
- System access data: IP address used for access, device type, date/time/duration of livestreams, data about the operating system, device or equipment used for access.
- Content data: comments, non-published or archived video content

Types of requests we can accept
For all legal requests, we require the following information:
- name, location and official contact details for the requesting authority and officer who is making the request
- details of the Noice username for which data is being requested.
- a specific description of the scope of the data requested, properly constrained to allow Noice to preserve the relevant data, and how it relates to the investigation
- a date range constraining the request
Noice accepts the types of requests detailed below from authorized law enforcement entities subject to appropriate legal process or a valid emergency request.
Data Preservation Requests
Noice accepts requests, where legally appropriate, from law enforcement to preserve records that are potentially relevant evidence for a legal proceeding. In these cases, Noice will preserve but will not disclose information for 90 days pending service of a valid legal process.
Preservation requests should include, in addition to the information detailed above, the following details:
- start and end dates and times for the preservation of historical data
- whether this is a first request or an extension request
- whether the request is subject to non-disclosure rules preventing us from notifying the user that we have received a request for information related to their account
- be accompanied with a non-editable version of the request on law enforcement letterhead that is properly signed and dated
- a clear specification indicating the legal basis for the request, with citation or reference to relevant regulation, legislation or acts.
Noice will honor an extension request for an additional 90-day period after the first 90-day period. Noice may not honor multiple requests beyond an additional 90-day period.
If Noice does not receive a formal legal process for the preserved information before the end of the preservation period, the information may be deleted when the preservation period expires, subject to Noice's privacy policy.

User Data Disclosure Requests
Noice will not release any non-public user information except in response to appropriate legal process, such as a court order, subpoena, or other valid legal process, or in response to a valid emergency request.
Noice requires that requests for Noice user data include the following details, subject to and consistent with applicable law:
- as much detail as is possible to help Noice identify and preserve the relevant data
- a valid official email address for Noice to get in contact upon receipt of the legal request
- confirmation that the data being requested is not publicly available
- whether the request is subject to non-disclosure rules preventing us from notifying the user that we have received a request for information related to their account
- be accompanied with a non-editable version of the request on law enforcement letterhead that is properly signed and dated
- a clear specification indicating the legal basis for the request, with citation or reference to relevant regulation, legislation or acts. (This is not required for emergency disclosure requests but is helpful if relevant).
We are not able to process vague or overly broad requests, and cannot process requests for data that is publicly available.

Emergency Disclosure Requests
If we receive information from law enforcement that, in good faith, gives us reason to believe that a data disclosure will assist in addressing an exigent emergency with risk of death or serious physical injury to a person, we may provide information to assist in preventing that harm.
All emergency disclosure requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Any requests from law enforcement requesting an emergency disclosure should include:
- a clear explanation that this is an emergency disclosure request
- identifying information for the person who is in danger of death or serious physical injury
- indication of the nature of the emergency
- Noice username(s), account information, and as much detail as is possible to help Noice identify and disclose the relevant data
- a specification of the information requested and why it is important to assist in the emergency
- a signature by the law enforcement officer making the request
- any other details or context that would he useful to Noice in responding quickly to the request

Content Removal requests
Noice has community guidelines that govern the behavior that is allowed and not allowed on the platform. When there is content on the platform that is allowed by the Noice Terms of Service but that must be removed or blocked from view in a particular jurisdiction due to law or court order, we require formal legal notice from a competent and duly appointed regulatory authority before taking action.
Any legal requests for content removal must include:
- a clear specification indicating the legal basis for the request, with citation or reference to relevant regulation, legislation or acts
- must come from official source that is duly authorized to enforce on the legal basis
- must have already been reported as a possible violation of the Noice Terms of Service, with confirmation from Noice that it does not violate the Noice Terms of Service.
Proceed to submit a Legal Content Removal Request
Notification to users
Noice will notify a user when we have received a legal request related to their account, unless this disclosure is prohibited by law. When such a disclosure is prohibited by law, the person or entity making a legal request should make that explicitly clear in the request.
We may apply an exception to our user notification process in circumstances where such a disclosure would jeopardize an investigation, or would put people in harm's way, or for circumstances relating to child sexual exploitation, threat to life or violent extremism.
MLATs
Noice may request that a legal information request be submitted to designated government authorities via a mutual legal assistance treaty (MLAT) or letters rogatory, It is our policy to promptly respond to such requests upon proper service of process. If submitting a request that is coming through the MLAT mechanism, please include the name of the originating country in the request.
Cost reimbursement
Noice may seek reimbursement for costs associated with responding to law enforcement requests, where this is permitted by relevant law.
General inquiries or questions
General questions about Noice, our policies, or our processes from law enforcement or government officials to Noice should be submitted through our General Law Enforcement and Government Inquiry form. We will not honor requests for data disclosures submitted through this form.
